On the A321, I’d go with anything but Row 1. On the MD-88, I actually don’t mind the bulkhead as I like that you get 2 full windows and the legroom isn’t as bad as other bulkheads as I can generally get out of the window seat without bothering the aisle seat passenger. The only negative to row 1 on the MD-88 is that everything will have to go up in the OH bin (this doesn’t bother me too much, but it does to others)
