Since there will be two traveling together, a window and aisle pair on these narrow body aircraft would be a natural choice. I like to avoid the bulkhead row and also the last row of the cabin. I used to also avoid 2B because it tended to be given to FAMs, but they're no longer entitled to premium cabin seats. I also used to pick seats to maximize the chances of getting my meal choice, but with preorder, that's no longer necessary.
