The "Nellie" is wonderful for a honeymoon! Rooms are very spacious, fabulous views of Table Mountain. It is quiet, but close to a lot of things. Taxis are cheap to go out to restaurants as the Rand is not doing well compared to a lot of other currencies.
Breakfast was fantastic-even had oysters and champagne every day! They have an amazing reputation for afternoon tea-probably the best in Cape Town.
I have been to Cape Town twice-first time at the Mount Nelson, second time at Table Bay. Both are lovely but very different. For a honeymoon I would pick the Nellie.
