Why is a house 60KMs from the downtown core of Vancouver north of a million dollars? Because people like me say it's worth it when we pull out our wallets and pay it.
Things cost what the market says they should.
On topic, I really hope J fares never get lowered for AC. I'm happy to have lots of R space available...
AC J fares have come down a lot from my perspective in just the last 5-6 years.
It wasn't that long ago that a P fare on YYZ-SFO was well over $3000 USD round-trip regardless of advance purchase. Now you can easily get it under $1500.
