I could hang around at Al Maha, but then if they unable to give me late check out then I pretty much stuck there from noon until pick up time.

Le Meridien by the airport is interesting suggestion.

Previously I'm thinking of JW Marriott Marquis or Fairmont Dubai
But JW seems too crowded when I visit there last time.
