My WM now has a hand made sign (well done though) that reads: Only Cash or Bank Debit Card for Money Orders.
I guess they are getting serious. It was always a YMMV depending on time of day and cashier as to whether they would ask to see the cards or didn’t care and just allowed the 4 swipes. I think they had some retraining before the sign went up as a few who never asked, starting asking to see the cards.
