Just an update. A further schedule change reduced the layover by an hour but I was not able to accept the rebook on the app and therefore had to call in

i mentioned my priority was timing as opposed to class of service, suddenly they were able to rebook to an earlier q300 service in flexible economy (so I lose 20SC but gain a couple of hours)

anyone know if the rebooking guidelines change when you turn WP or whether it is a function of 2 schedule changes, or being within 2 weeks, or what?
