I just booked and confirmed P class fare SQ to Europe in business class and comes back confirmed business and reserved seat upstairs A388 and confirmed so when checking in that's what I would expect, Before SQ always had P class as F class except suites then resorted to F for all planes as suites were initially more expensive . I would not expect to fly F in this case as the F fare is 5000usd more expensive and after 45 years of travel can tell you from experience that SQ never upgrade (even the CEO) and KE the same as they always believe that is what the prems pay for and as Star Alliance on NH and not Krisflyer cannot get F award only J. New here but only to learn and possible help others as those vloggers like Chui Bunnick and Cahill and Non stop Dan are idiots and I see them all the time in lounges and planes filming and annoying others and are on discounted travel for sure in most cases. Anyway good to learn from others as we have all been burnt in prem classes on oversold flights etc . My logbook states 4897 block to block hours as pax and 1250 CPL previously(private and commercial)
