Plus I'm sure if a pax was in distress & needed water I'm 100% sure the crew or even another pax would grant a bottle of water..
Canadians just need to get used to no-frill, those in the EU are so they know to bring things like water and food if they don't want to pay on board.
I made the mistake just last month of ordering a pizza wrap on Easyjet for 8 euros, not edible in my mind, learned my lesson. Next time bring my own or eat before the flight.
