It is of course not allowed to add a person one knows to be dead to one's household account (i read the op as suggestion the op’s friend did that after the person had sadly died).

Whilst I agree with others that BA may well never find out, if they do, this would be ample grounds to close all the accounts, seize all avios, and potentially worse.
