Glad you got a ground-floor room with a pool - neat! I believe they were still being finalized when I was there, but then again, I visited shortly after they reopened. I paid a supplement (I think it was just the cash difference between the two rooms) to get the private pool but was more than happy to. Could see in the App I had been pre-upgraded to a Panoramic Suite a couple of weeks out and then emailed the hotel to ask how much extra it would be to get one of the Lifestyle Suites with a pool instead. Didn't sound like they'd give it as a complimentary upgrade, but not sure.
Elite treatment was very good though, I booked the hotel car and the Chief Concierge came to the airport to escort me at baggage reclaim for a flight landing after 11pm!
I actually brought my own champagne for the trip (I'm insanely fussy I know! :P) but the hotel did provide a pretty decent bottle of champagne as part of a welcome gift which was very generous

Cyprus generally is a beautiful place but very hot at this time of year!
