Non-stop routes have inherent value and with an SIA badge commands a premium and pax will pay. I'm yet to find a non-stop route SIN to Europe (on SIA) that is cheaper than ME3.

In fact I've found ME3 to continually undercut SIA suggesting pax are likely to accept the inconvenience of a stopover if the price is sharp.
