Yes and No!
It still is a business class fare, but for this price you'd have to sit in the very back of almost any EK longhaul flight few years ago.
Furthermore, by paying $1'000 less you still get a flat bed, c-class luggage allowance (not sure how long this will stick, though), same food, drinks and service onboard in general, entertainment system...
TBO, what do you get in a lounge these days? Often over-crowded, mediocre to bad food, cheap(est) drinks selection, you name it. Oh yes, you get free-wifi...
We're in the 20th century, so free wifi at almost every spot at any airport in the world.
Flying c-class with no lounge access, less miles, restricted seat selection by paying 4-figures less - I'd take that any day.
The catch is, as soon as all other airlines do the same, the price will go up to what we're now paying for full-service.
