We just got back from 5 days at El Encanto and we also visited several of the others. I was pleasantly surprised by all of them and would gladly return. We did not have the poor service that others had at El Encanto. In fact, we loved the wonderful hard product and great views. It was also a very good relative value compared to the others.

I agree with the criticism that the Rosewood had no sense of place, but it has a wonderful oceanfront location and a nice beachy vibe.The tariff is nuts though.

FS Biltmore was just lovely. The lush landscaping was very appealing and it just feels like Santa Barbara. I would definitely return.

We were bowled over by San Ysidro Ranch. It is a gorgeous spot. We are already considering it for an adult getaway.
