No. You will not have the new seat, its not currently scheduled to be fitted on any 787.

Don't worry about the stepover though, it really is not a huge issue unless you're either really short, or really old (in which case take an aisle)!

Otherwise many love the Club World window seats, you will struggle to find a more private business class seat, there is limited storage, however the seat itself and bed are very comfy for most.
