Slightly OT: Deutsche Bahn 1st class ICE Service

After trying hard to find a reasonable LH/partner flight option to get from CGN-AMS, I still coudn't find a decent combo. Anyways decided to take easy option of the DB ICE from CGN hbf-AMS Centraal (taking a total of 2hrs 34mins non stop.)

I've booked a 1st class saver DB ticket. I had some questions about DB. (My prev experience on DB has only been FRA-QKL Airrail )

1. My reserved seat is a non-smoking, window, with a video screen. Are these solo seats in a 2x1 pattern, or are they pairs in a 2x2.

2. Any idea what is shown on the video, and is there anything in English at all.

3. Are food/drink included on board in the ticket price. (Like in the LH Airrail.) Or do they have to be bought separately. If so are they delivered to the seat/trolley service or does one have to go to the bordbistro.

4. Could I access the DB 1st class lounges (especially at AMS) with a 1st saver ticket, and no DB loyalty card of any type.

5. Is there any loyalty card I could sign up for to earn any points/miles for this trip...

thanks a heap,
AJ
