MAN doesn't know about the 5 guest flexibility (or chooses to ignore it). I have had 2 instances in the last 4 weeks at MAN where i was told I couldn't have even 2 guests one week and 4 guests the next week. Their sign at the lounge still says 2 guests for GGL but the first week I think the agent hadn't even heard of GGL, let alone the 5 guests

My Flight from MAN to LHR over the weekend got changed from a A321 to A320 so I lost the seat next to my partner. No real bother but I noticed just before entering the lounge on expertflyer that the seat next to my partner was blocked, so I asked in the lounge if I could be changed to this seat. First response was 'WHY' and then they advised it was 'protected' as someone has prebooked that seat. They clearly don't know what they are doing there!
