Thanks for the various viewpoints on this. I have been keeping an eye on the Court of Appeal decision and in light of BALPA's announcement that they are pursing talks at ACAS for the rest of the week it looks like any strike will fall after our outbound flight. I'm far more relaxed about getting delayed on the inbound and if necessary would not be unhappy to spend a few extra days in LA at the expense of BA and my travel insurer.
