I’m at the hotel now and checking out in a few hours. In short, I love this hotel. It doesn’t t feel crowded even though I was told that they are near capacity. The weather here is nearly unbearable. I’ve been all through SE Asia during the summer months and this feels much worse than anything I’ve ever experienced. Anyway, that has nothing to do with the hotel.

Breakfast is great. You can order as much as you want. They have little dishes of granola, yogurt, smoked salmon, prosciutto, tofu, and much more. They have 3 types of bread that are unlimited. I ordered several rounds of everything and had the western option every day. They even have a fruit cup and fresh juices to choose from. It’s quite a civilized experience.

I booked the lowest category room through Amex FHR and I’m lowly gold elite and I got upgraded to the next level about a week after I booked. At Check-in no upgrade was available as they said they were full.
