Connection time at AUS

I'm getting a friend an awards flight from LHR to AUS in F but she will need to connect onward and there's no way to make it part of the award ticket. Okay, so we buy a ticket. However, recognizing that a delayed flight fron LHR will mess it all up, how is passport control and customs at AUS? I have no reason to arrive back in the US there so have no idea. She will have mobility assistance, likely no checked luggage (for a nice glass of bubbly I'll share her husband's email so you guys can ask him how he managed to get that situation!) and she holds a Swiss passport. If all works according to plan, it would be great if she could make a flight on Southwest just over two hours after the LHR flight arrives. Min connection time for international to domestic is 2 hours per Southwest but..... as we all know that can be real pie in the sky stuff. Input will be greatly appreciated! Many thanks!
