JMK is not a great airport facilities-wise, but it has improved in the last couple of years with the new baggage claim and departure gate renovations (still in progress it seems). I flew LHR-JMK in late June and we were delayed in LHR due to parked flight congestion at JMK - but in the end it was nice to take BA (instead of an LCC) to JMK for a great holiday.

Departing, you really can turn up to JMK 30-40 mins before departure to check in, including with luggage. I panic because i'm still in line at T-30 but somehow it all works out.
