The only time I've ever been remotely scared on a flight was out of JMK.

Long defunct Air Finland 757 to MAN. We rotated so very long, the old departure required an almost immediate left turn; looked like we were going to drag the wing tip in the dirt..

I'd probably do it again with a huge grin on my face these days...
