So YVR-LAX, you were in row 7 ... and had boarding zone 3. LAX-YVR you were in row 16 ... and boarding zone 2.
Yep, that’s how it works. The further towards the back of the plane, the earlier you board (ie the lower your boarding zone number). Zone 2 boards before zone 3, because their seats are further back from the boarding door.
What seemed to be the problem with it?
