I will be traveling JFK on AA100 in First and transferring to BA282 to DUB in Business - Do I collect my baggage before going through passport control and security? If I am on 2 separate tickets (AA from JFK and BA to DUB) is this going to cause an issue or significant time difference in transfer? The BA ticket is significantly cheaper if purchased directly from BA and not through AA.
