Excellent report. I have in front of me all the info for my husband and I to book our FIRST cruise ( ever) on Regent Explorer. Your description helped me visualize what it would be like and what to watch for. We seem to have similar tastes and politics. Our biggest difference is eating times.... we eat early.... and a two hour meal would do us in and make sleeping at night difficult. Thanks again for your travelogue.
