I love L-1011, thanks for the link about TWA L-1011, enjoyed reading it!

My first L-1011 flight was Sept. 1979 TW 38 LAX-PHL. I have flown 747s prior to that, my first impression of L-1011 was no overhead bin in the center of the cabin, tall open ceiling of the cabin was totally different feel from 747. The coat rack at front of each cabin, coats were pulled for storage, entrance door moved upward toward the ceiling, thought that was "Star Trek" type! Two elevators which connect under floor galley. Though 747s was cool but fell in love with L-1011. I always wanted to fly long range, short fuselage version L-1011-500, wish came true on Jan. 1990 on UL (SirLankan Airlines, Air Lanka back then) NRT-CMB. My last L-1011 flight was Nov. 2000 DL 1579 SLC-LAX L-1011-500.

I always liked L-1011 over DC-10, possible because I flew L-1011 before I flew DC-10 for the first time. My first DC-10 was on March 1982 LH 408 MUC-DUS-JFK.
