Unlike every other airline (CI, CA, NH (brand new A380s), MU, JL, etc.), DL always has the worst cabin/aircraft (and of course food - like "shortrib" that is more than 50% tendon and fat, for example), by far.
The worst thing is that DL is constantly cutting its service, so the food quality is getting worst and worse, year by year (at least in J), and the J seats are getting more and more frequently broken (as are the aircraft), seemingly due to serious cuts on the required maintenance to keep it up and running. With DL something mechanical being broken is almost a given every 1 out of 3 or 1 out of 4 flights.
Ahh.... DL is running 330, 350 or 777 to Japan. I think the only 767 is for PDX. You must not be flying it every week or two like I am... LAX to HND has been on 350 for a long time, 777 a few time when capacity is needed. SEA to NRT was on 767 a long time ago, and switched to 330 and now also on 350.
I don't know what your beef is with, but 767 is a great plane. The worst one is actually the un-renovated 777.
PDX is a different story. Because of Nike contract, DL keep that route running and usually use on of the older 767.
