I've been told that my luggage successfully left my departure airport but never arrived in London, only for it to show up ten days later. How that's possible, I don't know, but it's definitely a London thing. Someone forgot to scan something at some point and then it got lost... until someone finds it, way later.
Fair point, I guess the reference to First alludes to the fact that I might at least have a better chance of getting a timely factually accurate response. My expectations have been set straight in that respect!
