I've been to Morocco once from Algeciras, from what I remember, you're going to be hard pressed to find a Spanish hire company who will be willing for you to take their car to Africa, so you're best bet may be to get a car there (whether they will hire it to you fom Ceuta or Melilla - Spanish towns within Morocco, I don't know). One good thing is that without a car you will avoid the worst of the queues - the return to Spain (on the Moroccan side) can be a nightmare, long long waits and NO TOILETS
As an alternative to Air Maroc, if you don't mind changing planes in Germany (or Paris) I saw Expedia had flights from £218 on LH - to Casablanca
