Within the last few months there has been one or more directives for agents NOT to call inventory. This was spawned by numerous elites demanding that they call inventory to release upgrades for their CLT-GSO domestic flights. If you do a search for inventory in the forum you will find those threads. I am not saying that they won't EVER call inventory--your chances of getting those special favors have shrunk dramatically though.

But the real issue here is not whether or not we need to harass agents to call inventory--we need US to have reasonable advance release of unsold and soon to be empty premium seats.
