Background - I have international Samsung S7 and I wanted to add my US issued credit cards to Samsung Pay. Samsung limits adding cards to Samsung Pay only from the country of the firmware it is running. So in my case it only allows me to add cards issued in Singapore to Samsung Pay.

After several hours of search it seems that the only way to fix the problem is to load to the phone the firmware from the destination country. US and international S7 devices have different chipsets. However Canadian phones have the same chipset as the international one. The supposed solution is to load Canadian firmware on the phone and try to add US issued cards.

So back to the question - any success stories?
I had no issues adding my US cards on my Canadian device (along with Canadian and UK cards)
