I searched 2 resort properties... Grand Cypress & Chesapeake.

Chesapeake is still showing a resort fee, but indeed, the Grand Cypress is now calling it a hotel fee. My gut is telling me that this is in response to the recent lawsuits over disclosure of resort fees.

I was thinking of booking again, but will check with the hotel to find out the status before doing so. Between the resort fee of $40 and parking of $22, it is an obscene amount of money to pay to stay there. Particularly if you don't use the hotel shuttle to get to the theme parks.
