Is the Japanese set breakfast free also? If not, that's kind of cheeky of them to sell it to you but you can't have anything from the buffet, which you're entitled to as a Globalist. If it is free, that is a bit tacky that you can't have anything from the buffet also.
I've not been charged for the coffee or tea (or cafe lattes...) earlier this year.
The Japanese set breakfast is also free but they can be very rigid about it - if you have a split party (one person wants buffet, the other Japanese), you can sit upstairs but there's usually miscommunication/resistance to it. If all parties want the Japanese set, you're forced to sit downstairs. But they do mention that you can't have anything from the buffet if you get a Japanese set, unlike PHT.
The Japanese set is pretty big and quite filling, so it wasn't a huge issue. But I also felt guilty at times snacking on a croissant that they sometimes walk up and offer to you.
