If you are going to stay at the Royal Hawaiian, I would highly recommend the Tower rooms. While I have never stayed in the Tower, I have been upgraded to the Luxury Oceanfront Rooms in the Historic section. While I understand it's Historic, it is also worn out AND Historic included the carpeting and bedskirts and upholstered headboard.
