Hi all - Noticed something weird on my credit card statement today. A refund amount of about $20 was posted to my US credit card (which is saved on BA) and the transaction description shows a ticket number 125-xxxxxxxxxx. There is no PNR associated with this in the description. However, I cannot find any associated booking of mine with this ticket number. I looked through my email and recent booking receipts that I could find. I called BA concerned about any changes to upcoming travel but they couldn't pull anything up with just the ticket number and my name. I entered this number in "Claim missing avios" as that's the only place I know which accepts just the ticket number and I got the message saying that it has to be a ticket I have flown on.

I tried asking the agent if this could be a ticket for someone else which I may have paid for at some point but I don't think they got the message. I checked a recent avios booking that I did for a friend and the ticket numbers don't match up there.

Does anyone have any thoughts about this? Should I be concerned about any future travel being affected even though the ticket numbers do not match?
