The DC Metro police are well-known for their fascist behavior. Similar arrests have happened after a "violator" made a snide remark at an officer. The entire management and most of the front-line employees in that organization need to be terminated.
It does seem that these metro cops are real butt heads but if you ever had to deal with the EPA nazi squads on a military base, I feel no sympathy for the lady.
