Exit Row Strategy
I'm flying tomorrow on a flight showing Y, E, R, W = 1 and a dummy booking showing 1 seat available for sale on the EK website. EF shows 3 regular seats unoccupied, plus 10 of the 12 exit row seats. Nothing blocked.
Is it safe to assume some exit rows will be occupied, and presumably have to be complimentary, or will they try to upsell at check in until they have no choice? I assume computer will say no to complimentary until all regular seats are full.
What strategy should I use to try and get one for myself?
