Although I'm used to the 24-hour clock at work and much prefer it for booking flights (looking at you AA), I think I prefer the "twenty past three" format for the local time. A lot of people still get confused with the 24-hour format, although I appreciate that non-UK or non-native English speakers may not be used to the "twenty past" format.
