This past April, I was flying from WDH TO JNB on South African with a connecting flight to DOH via Qatar Airways. The first flight was delayed an hour. I got to JNB with less than an hour to spare, and my gate was clear on the opposite side of the huge terminal. Thanks to an airport attendant, who pushed me through the terminal in a wheelchair--enabling me to go to the front of the line at security and passport control--I was able to sprint to the gate and get there just as it was closing; otherwise, I would have had to spend the night in Jo-burg.
