it’s just the way the vast majority of people say the time in the U.K., including both in daily life and on radio, media etc. Not sure why BA crew should have to go against this grain which some people are bound to dislike and some people are bound to like.
by the way, personally, it’s the ‘twenty o five’ I find a lot more casual, as though the person was merely reading figures on a digital display watch instead of actually talking, so I guess it’s personal and cultural takes?
