Yes, Qantas do this now domestically. It's a pain because you need to download the app and I'm getting weary of downloading loads of apps these days. I've gone from being an early adopter with phone tech to use it til it dies. I don't have much space to download apps despite moving what I can to the large SD card. And on a plane you want to ensure you have the means to charge your phone as well. Can't recall if the QF domestic business seats I was in had any sockets. Nothing at eye level anyway.
I'm sure there are many elderly travellers who'd appreciate a moving map so they know how much longer to go, who don't have the right tech or the skills to download apps without the assistance of younger relative.
