Yes absolutely

Booked Deluxe King @ cheapest corporate rate, 2x got a corner Junior Suite with Club Lounge access, 1x hotel was nearly full got Club King instead of Junior Suite

- How are the rooms?
Club King comfortable size, Junior Suite nearly double of standard room size
Warm contempory decor & furniture.

Medium hard beds, my poor old back prefers softer, but that's personal.

Junior Suite, full size bathroom with bathtub and separate shower,
Club King, reasonable sized bathroom with either walk-in shower or bathtub.
Rituals amenities.

- How is the Club Lounge?
Offered free of charge as one of three Spire welcome amenities (other options are points or drink voucher... that's a no-brainer!)
Club Lounge is rarely overcrowded, for a complimentary breakfast there are more than enough good quality items, tables are cleaned immediately after use. Happy Hour from 5 to 7PM with daily cheese plate; coffee, beers and some wine available all through the day.

- Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?
Excellent value for Amsterdam. Yes will definately return to the CP AmsSouth.
Carpark is extremely expensive @ €80,- per week nights, weekend nights are €15 flat rate.

Other Amsterdam IHG hotels l also like are the QO-hotel which is more expensive but upgrades are hit or miss,
one time the QO-Suite was simply amazing, second time one category upgrade but didn't even get requested high floor.
Staff still seems not to be fully trained. Unfortunately no lounge with comp breakfast.

IC Amstel is my all time favorite but since they stopped offering Club Life Experience I stopped going there.
