We have stayed at the Royal more than a dozen times. ^ ^ ^

While the old section has ambiance the Tower has the comfort hands down. In the Tower it’s a straight shot to the pool and beach. In the old section you have to walk through a labyrinth from the beach access elevator as walking through the lobby in beach attire is garish.
