I've not been fortunate enough to be on a BA aircraft with wifi yet. (My base has changed this year). However, on QF/VA/AA/DL, their wifi portals all include the map.

I'd suggest BAs wifi program helped them to justify the removal of this equipment. It's just unfortunate there's not great overlap between the outgoing and the incoming.
