BOS is often staffed by a regular (i.e. non-gold scarf) agent. The GS chute is just to the left of 1K/Polaris. Usually if the agent working the GS counter is busy, the 1K/Polaris agent will call over any GS in the queue ahead of a 1K. The system works well.
