There is no charge for the service, but you can only get on if you have a booking for the bus leg.
And you can't get a booking for the bus leg if your ticket is an award issued by a partner.

I would start thinking about alternative arrangements. Taxis (and even Uber/Careem in Lexus) will be roughly in the 300AED range, which always strikes me as quite cheap for a 120km journey.
