Just looked at the current PE Fares the same fares I purchased at the introduction of the new Fare Family for June/August travel are down $400US per ticket. For me that would have been $1,200 savings.

Singapore Airlines starts service to SEA in September. Took Singapore Airlines from BKK to Sydney 787-10/380. On Singa/Sydney leg my wife and 7 year removed from ticketed seats given seats apart. After terse words with FA given adjoining seats in the back. On Sydney/Singa had PE extra legroom window seat reserved (printed on my eticket, and paid extra for). Instead my airport issued ticket was for middle aircraft row middle seats. When purchased my tickets in end of January had pick of all PE seats. FA brought some customer service/no customer service dragon and got no where with her. Asked for upgrade to business, she would only sell it (Even though I was being denied something I paid for). She would not give me any sort of documentation concerning my dispute (No Id number, name, nothing, she ran off when I tried to photograph her) After take off showed original e-ticket with purchased extra legroom seat bulkhead window. The flight attendant took photos of my e-ticket and my info. All PE window seats occupied so asked for Business Class, no. I got nothing. It's been 3 days have not heard anything from Singapore Airlines.

This is my first experience with Singapore Airlines and it is the worlds most overrated airline. As I told all Singapore Airlines representatives If your not going to do anything to rectify the situation which I paid extra for and did not receive, just penalty free refund my future Business Class fare to BKK in September and I'll take my business else where.

Did successfully bid for Business Class upgrade on 2 of 4 segments and was underwhelmed by their product. I have to say EVA is a far superior airline.

Singapore Airlines routing from SEA to BKK RT are not as timely as EVA's on the return there is a 12 hour lay over in Singapore and no lodging provided even for Business Class.
