Correct. No Alaska miles on the Dragon flights. Others have reported using multiple FF numbers. (i.e. credit the long haul to Alaska and the Dragon to AA.)

Correct, with one possible exception. What I am not sure about... if you built in a stopover in HKG they might not check for Vietnam as CX would only be issuing bp to HKG.
