Prior to UDU, UA used e500s
UDU was announced in Oct 2009, a year before the merger was announced -- United's Unlimited Domestic Upgrades Program (Data through March 18, 2010) [Merged]
One can debated if UDU was implied in anticpation of the merger but the first merger candidate in 2010 was US, CO came later.
