I don’t mind the seat itself even though it feels like a worse product than the Pinnacle, but there are a few things that bother me about how the Recaro ones have been designed. I miss the ability to hang my tablet at eye level on the back the Pinnacle seat in front of me. The holding pouch for magazines etc was considerably bigger before and without a mesh which is now wide open at the sides. The tray table is noticeably smaller too.
I do like the power sockets and I think taking the recline ability away is a good thing.
I do miss the CE table, which allowed for a window passenger to easily get through to the aisle even before trays were collected. The only benefit I have found associated with the table removal is that lap infant traveling with both parents on CE can now easily be put down in the middle during the flight. There’s also been some judicious allowance of ET passengers crossing over and occupying these seats to join their friends/family up front…
